In order to cooperate with the University mid and long-term development plans, the University Council approved to establish the Campus Development Committee in the 4th University Council Meeting in the academic year of 2006/2007. The Powers & Functions of the Committee are as follows:
1) To discuss and deliberate the directions and strategies of the University’s overall campus development plans, and promote the plans to the stakeholders;
2) To make recommendations to the University Council in order to ensure that the UM campus development plans are smoothly implemented and relevant resources are available;
3) To provide comments on issues referred by the University Council regarding the acquisition, purchase, construction, development, maintenance, exchange of land and buildings, etc;
4) To provide comments on large-scale construction projects at the request of the University.
